Café Piedralipe is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. What personal information means

What data we collect

Depending on how you interact with the Services, where you live and what applicable law permits or requires, we may process: contact details (name, shipping and billing addresses, phone number and email); payment and transaction data (payment method, confirmation, items, amounts, orders, returns, exchanges or cancellations); communications that you send us; and device, network, IP-address, identifier and site-usage data. Bold and the other payment participants process your full card or payment-instrument data; Café Piedralipe does not store full card numbers.

Account data: if you create or use a customer account, we process your email address, account identifier, saved addresses, order history and status, and preferences that you save. Shopify manages account authentication; Café Piedralipe does not store your account credentials on this website.

Marketing (optional): if you choose to receive updates through Shopify’s checkout marketing-consent checkbox, we process your email address to send new-microlot alerts and news. Your choice is recorded in your Shopify customer profile, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email or by contacting us.

Your rights

You may know, update, correct or request deletion of your data; request proof of authorization; learn how the information has been used; complain to the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (SIC); and withdraw authorization where applicable. To do so, email info@cafepiedralipe.co with the subject “Personal data”, your name, identification, contact details and a clear description of your request.

Depending on applicable law, you may also request access to information we hold, a copy of it, or portability where applicable. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may ask you to verify your identity and, where an authorized representative acts for you, to provide proof of authorization before processing the request.

We will answer queries within a maximum of ten (10) business days and claims within a maximum of fifteen (15) business days, counted from complete receipt. If we need to extend the period, we will notify you within the applicable legal timeframe.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as needed for the purposes described and to meet applicable legal, accounting, tax and consumer-service obligations. Afterwards, we securely delete, anonymize or block it, unless the law requires a longer retention period.
